Clear-Blue-Green Business Certification Program

The Clear-Blue-Green Business Certification Program is a partnership between Greater Lafayette Commerce, City of Lafayette, City of West Lafayette, Go Greener Commission, Wabash River Enhancement Corporation, and WISER.

About Clear-Blue-Green

Clear-Blue-Green (CBG) is a certification program for environmentally friendly businesses in the Greater Lafayette community. The CBG committee works monthly to:

  • Recognize innovative businesses that are committed to green practices

  • Market CBG certified businesses in our community

  • Increase awareness of the economic growth opportunities related to emerging green economies

What does it mean to be CBG certified?

A Clear-Blue-Green certified business is a leader in the protection of environmental health. Essentially, CBG certified businesses conserve resources and prevent pollution all while strengthening their bottom lines through operating efficiencies.

To receive this certification, businesses will complete an application auditing their operations in regards to six categories: Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, Waste Reduction & Prevention, Purchasing, Transportation, and Employee Education and Outreach.

How to Apply

To be considered for Clear-Blue-Green certification, please fill out the application with $25 processing fee. Someone from the CBG committee will contact you once they review the application by the next committee meeting. You can fill out the application online or print out the application and mail it in.
