Education and Outreach Committee

Are you interested in educating people about water quality and how our actions affect the Wabash River? The Education and Outreach Committee will develop the education program that coincides with and complements development of the watershed management plan and future implementation programs. This committee will determine the education priorities and goals and develop or identify educational materials and programs to achieve the goals. Events that have been identified as good education and/or outreach opportunities include the following: Wabash River Fest, county fairs, watershed information workshops, Best Management Practice workshops and/or field days. Education committee members will determine other opportunities for getting the educational message(s) out and find motivated volunteers to carry out the message.

Meeting dates and minutes for the education and outreach committee can be found here.
