Public Meeting I - 23 April (Lafayette) and 7 July 2009 (Williamsport)

During the first public meeting, individuals had an opportunity to interact with Purdue University Forestry and Natural Resources (FNR) students; learn about potential options for the future of the watershed; state their concerns about water quality, the Wabash River, and its watershed; and identify goals for the watershed management planning process and the River.

The event also highlighted opportunties to get involved with the planning process and educational opportunities throughout the lifetime of the project. Interested in volunteering? Contact Sara Peel via phone or email at speel@lafayette.in.gov or (765) 337-9100.

Details of individuals' concerns and goals will be posted soon. In the meantime, review the presentation to see how you can get involved.
