Steering Committee

The Region of the Great Bend of the Wabash River Watershed Project's steering committee includes more than 25 community members who represent various city and county government agencies, Purdue University faculty and staff, neighborhood associations, and other groups including educators, Master Gardeners, and not-for-profit groups.

This committee is tasked with guiding development of the watershed management plan and making all the difficult decisions with regards to the focus of the plan and the future implementation efforts associated with this project.

The steering committee will meet bi-monthly in 2009 on the first Tuesday. Meeting dates are listed on the meeting minute page. Meetings are open to the public, so feel free to join us.

The Steering Committee (and others) are welcome to review drafts of the watershed management plan. The latest draft of the plan is posted below. If you would like a portion or the entire plan in editable format, please contact Sara at speel@lafayette.in.gov. Please review the plan at your leisure and provide comments to Sara no later than Wednesday, February 10th.
