Free Rain Barrels: Volunteer for 4 hours or more with WREC and receive a free rain barrel kit including the barrel, stand and diverter! Contact Sara for more details!

2016 Wednesdays, 7:30 am-12:00 noon - Street Tree Pruning

Join Tree Lafayette as they prune street trees around the Greater Lafayette area.  No experience necessary!  Tree Lafayette experts will train you how to properly prune a tree.  All tools and safety equipment will be provided, and no climbing is necessary.  Just meet at the McDonald's restaurant at 510 Sagamore Parkway in Lafayette between Union and South streets, or call (765) 449-7908.

2016 September 16th, 2:30-5:00 pm (as your schedule allows) - Wabash Sampling Blitz

Join WREC and 200 volunteers to create a snapshot of water quality in Tippecanoe, Fountain, and Warren Counties! Learn more and volunteer!   

2016 September 20th, 4:00-6:00 pm - Cary Home Savannah Maintenance

Volunteers are needed to maintain the native savannah planting at Cary Home on Tuesday, September 20th from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.  Volunteer four or more hours with WREC and receive a free rain barrel kit - rain barrel, stand, and diverter included!  Sign up here or contact WREC for more information.

2016 October 22nd, 9:00 am-1:00 pm - DeTrash the Wabash

Help remove trash from the Wabash River!  Meet at the Riverside Skating Rink at Tapawingo Park.  Be sure to wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and gloves. Sign up here to participate.
