2016 April 19th - Cary Home Work Day 4:00-6:00 pm

Help maintain the Cary Home savanna - in April we'll be raking leaves, removing honeysuckle and pulling weeds. We provide all equipment - wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Contact Sara for information.

2016 April 21st at 4:30 pm or 23rd at 9:00 am - Native Planting Events

Help install rain gardens to protect and improve water quality in the Wabash River. Join volunteers at Lighthouse Baptist Church (1730 E. 430 S. Lafayette) on Thursday at 4:30 pm or at Morton Community Center (222 N. Chauncey West Lafayette) on Saturday at 9:00 am. Register online and WREC staff will contact you when dates are scheduled.

2016 April 30th at 9:15 am  - Tree Lafayette Arbor Day Planting

Help plant trees at Columbian Park!  Learn more or register online!

2016 April & May 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm - RIP Squad (Remove Invasive Plants) Events

Join the Rip Squad, West Central Chapter of the Indiana Native Plant and Wildflower Society and Sycamore Audubon Society in cooperation with West Lafayette Parks and Recreation and Tippecanoe County parks. Tuesdays at West Lafayette Parks, Thursday at Tippecanoe County Parks April 5- May 26. Learn more about the program and view specific dates at each park!

2016 July 9th - Wabash Riverfest 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join WREC and our partners to set up, staff and tear down Wabash Riverfest! Volunteres receive a free t-shirt and if you volunteer for 4 or more hours, a rain barrel voucher! Learn more and volunteer!   

2016 September 16th - Wabash Sampling Blitz 2:30-5:00 pm as your schedule allows!

Join WREC and 200 volunteers to create a snapshot of water quality in Tippecanoe, Fountain and Warren Counties! Learn more and volunteer!
